Getting ready for Christmas parties after a long day at work is always a challenge, but this season, why not take the pressure off with semi-permanent make-up?

We’ve all had to quickly dash from our desks to the staff toilets to redo our entire make-up, adding layers of foundation, blusher and eye-shadow to our skin and applying endless coats of mascara just to look that bit better than you did during the day.

However, ladies, you don’t need to stress anymore, as you can solve all your problems by getting semi-permanent foundation and blusher done, which saves you half the job. This typically lasts for around four months, and gets rid of dark circles and redness, while the blush adds a flush of colour to your cheeks.

This means you only need to top up your eye-shadow, add a sexy lick of eyeliner and apply your falsies – if you haven’t already got some on.

Semi-permanent make-up is definitely becoming more and more popular, and Love Island star Olivia Attwood recently revealed she spent thousands of pounds getting ready for her stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, knowing she wouldn’t be allowed to wear make-up for a few weeks on camera.

The Mirror confirmed she had pink lipstick tattooed on, and eyebrow lamination and tint. The 31-year-old also said she had Botox, a facial, got her long hair trimmed and her nails done. Unfortunately, the reality TV star had to leave the jungle after just a day on medical grounds, but the cosmetic work will see her through the party season anyway!

One thing you should consider doing before the Christmas dos kick off is Warwickshire microblading, so your brows look their best for weeks without having to keep touching them up.
